Tangles and Teeth

A few months ago I bought the cheapest comb at Target thinking it didn't matter. Just needed something to detangle my hair after a shower. Know what I discovered? It matters. Now, I have always shed. I have thin, stringy hair that gets tangled easily...especially when I leave a towel on my wet hair for too long because after getting out of the shower I hear a kid fall down the stairs...or get made because they can't figure out Legos...or something similar...Anyway, along with my new comb came more hair. While I was in the hospital watching infomercials, because that is all I had to do, I saw an ad for a brush that promised no tangles. Sounded good to me. I was about to buy it when my mom told me about a brush her hair cutter person (pretty sure there is another name for those people that isn't barber but I can't think of it) that really worked. Sure enough I went to Target, got the brush, and bam no tangles and no extra hair. It is called The Wet Brush and it is freaking amazing. Plus, it was like $9 at Target. I don't normally buy specialized hair products (a $9 brush is specialized in our house) because it normally ends up in a pony tail by lunch but this rocked my face off. A few weeks later my straightener stopped working so I bought a Chi. I don't even know what is happening to me. Rett is confused but was in Germany and we established long ago that when he is out of town I can't control my spending. Must not bother him too much because he keeps going places. My last straightener was from college (10ish years ago) and just broke. His argument is that why buy an expensive one when a cheap one lasts 10 years. My argument is get a quality one because it lasts so long. This debate happens pretty much every purchase...car, clothes, paper...nothing is off limits. Whoever does the buying usually makes the call. That is usually me :)

Want to know something else? Ben broke his tooth. The one right in front. Want to know why I'm not surprised? Cause he is crazy. Good thing it is just a baby tooth...
Also, Big Batman and Little Batman (names by Jake) sleep at our house. There are capes involved with these pajamas....and flying...
